gypsy rising classes.

Gentle Yoga

Gentle Yoga is a great introduction to a Mat-based class. It is gentle, slow and easy- with options to progress to more challenging variations. You will experience a combination of standing and mat postures throughout class.

I provide pose options and modifications with the use props. This class is great for Yogis who want to gain a deeper knowledge of poses or Chair Yoga students who may be looking to experience more.

Vinyasa Yoga

This Vinyasa flow yoga class has no set sequence of poses, as it is not confined to any particular tradition. You can expect creative and energizing sequencing either targeting certain areas of the body, focusing on different themes or helping to build certain abilities, such as strength, flexibility or balance.

Class begins with gentler movements to warm up the body, then moves into progressively more challenging flowing sequences. These may include standing poses, balances, inversions and peak poses. The classes tend to end with slower, deeper stretches, and often floor-based asana practice. Every class at Gypsy Rising will offer modifications for every level and will offer props for support.

Chair Yoga

Rediscover feel-good movement in Chair Yoga. Chair Yoga is an accessible and gentle form of Yoga in which students use a chair to support their bodies in various modified poses to bring stability to the body.

Regardless of age, injury or limitations this can be a fruitful practice. We spend time working on posture, opening up our shoulders, relaxing our neck with the aim of feeling good!

Power Yoga

Our strongest yoga class. Explore your physical edge with power yoga! This is a vinyasa flow class at the next level. Amanda offers a strong, advanced practice that can level up your body and mind.

During this class, you might learn new poses such as arm balances and inversions, or maybe you will hold the poses for a longer amount of time. Expect to sweat, be challenged, and grow.

we all have a little gypsy in us.

  • Corporate Yoga

Gypsy Rising Yoga is available to host yoga classes for your next corporate event or as an offering to your employees.

Corporate Yoga is designed to educate, empower and bring relief to desk workers from the common issues and ailments they experience when working for long periods of time.

Some of the most common issues among desk workers include carpal tunnel syndrome, tight hamstrings, back pain, shoulder pain, “tech neck”, and neck stiffness and pain. Without prevention, compressed discs in our spines, sciatica, forearm and wrist tension, arthritis and hip flexor compression can develop, too!

Recent studies have shown that stress is one of the leading factors of a host of health issues. Thankfully, Yoga is one of the premier tools we have to help counteract stress, while also addressing the physical aspects of our well-being, too. Contact Amanda to learn more about bringing a Corporate Yoga Class into your business.
